Course design and implementation is largely the domain of teaching staff; however, it is important that disability practitioners are aware of the principles underpinning inclusive practice and how to support the need for adjustments in response to the needs of individual students. This section provides an overview of universal design and core course requirements. The identification and implementation of reasonable adjustments is discussed to support Disability Practitioners in facilitating the access and participation and success of students with disability. It should be read in conjunction with information presented in the Inclusive Teaching area.
