This symposium, held in June 2017, brought together a range of practitioners who work with Inherent Requirements in the post-secondary education and training sectors, and aimed to establish shared understanding about key concepts and definitions. It also endeavoured to create an opportunity to develop better practice principles and guidelines to assist in facilitating a consistent and inclusive approach to reasonable adjustment requirements and participation of people with disability in the VET and higher education sectors.
