ADCET partners with the UTS LX.lab
ADCET is collaborating with the LX.lab at University of Technology Sydney to share, develop and promote resources that support educators in the university sector to teach in an accessible way. These resources are practical and easy to follow so that teaching staff can start to implement them immediately in their practice.
There are two resources available now (with more to follow) that you’re able to explore:
- 12 tips to make your Mentimeter presentation accessible to all students, is a guide to inclusive practice when using the interactive presentation tool, Mentimeter.
- There’s more than one way to make your content accessible, takes you through some of the key concepts underlying accessibility so that you can prepare yourself to make big improvements in your content.
LX.lab provides a variety of online and in-person support for teaching staff at the University of Technology Sydney and assists with learning design and pedagogical advice as well as with technologies used for teaching. By partnering with LX.lab, we’re helping to expand some of the great work they’re doing to the wider education sector.
