Data visualization is a term applied to images that are used to make complex data easier to understand by displaying them visually. Examples commonly encountered include pie charts, line charts, column graphs and bar graphs. While their aim is to make information easier to understand, data visualizations can have specific accessibility implications for people with disabilities.
