Disability Liaison Officer - Bendigo Kangan Institute
Employment status: Bendigo City, Part Time, 12-month FTC, PACCT 6 - $90,749.85 (super inclusive)
The Disability Liaison Officer (DLO) at Bendigo Kangan Institute assesses and recommends personnel support and reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities. This includes:
- Assess, develop, and implement a Learning Access Plan (LAP) for the registered prospective and current students with a disability or medical condition.
- Coordinate support with the internal and external service provider/s and complement the support workers' skills with studens with disability needs.
- Liaise with all teaching departments with a student enrolled with a diagnosed disability, timetable classes, and organise support staff for the students.
Things required from you:
- Relevant compliance documents including Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), current police check, certified right to work documentation
- Certified vocational qualifications and certified transcripts (as listed in resume and relevant to the position)
