A11y Camp is about creating a digital world with no barriers. It is Australia’s premier annual conference on digital accessibility and inclusion, where people can share, learn, geek out, and connect with their peers and colleagues.

The 1-day conference will feature keynote addresses and presentations by accessibility professionals on topics from digital design and development through to policy and strategy.

The event will conclude with an opportunity for everyone to come together and connect in a fun, casual setting with a themed cocktail party.

If you are keen to dive deeper into accessibility and inclusion, there will also be 2 half-day workshops on Tuesday 22 October 2024. More information about the workshops will be coming soon.

Who is it for?

A11y Camp welcomes everyone, from seasoned accessibility professionals to those new to the field. This includes individuals from government departments, agencies, and authorities, and those working independently or within teams in corporate, commercial, or small agency settings.

It’s for those whose job it is to know everything there is to know about digital accessibility right through to those who simply want to get a better understanding of just what accessibility is and how they can help to make it happen.

What can attendees expect?

You can expect to learn from experienced professionals with deep understanding and newer trailblazers with innovative approaches. You’ll get to share your own experiences and learnings with your peers and colleagues in a focused and friendly atmosphere.

They will emerge with a greater understanding of both the principles of accessibility and the techniques to put them into real action.
