Event details
Join the Disability Innovation Institute UNSW as they launch their new Ethics Guidance, hear from the team behind the resources, Professor Iva Strnadová and Emerita Professor Leanne Dowse, and from the Council for Intellectual Disability team, who will talk about the development of Easy Read resources.
They will officially launch their new resource “Doing Research Inclusively: Guidance on Ethical Issues in Co-production” developed in collaboration with people with lived experience of disability.
This event is an opportunity to learn more about how to effectively address ethical issues in co-production research. Whether you are an academic researcher, lived experience researcher or advisor, a member of an ethics committee, project coordinator, disability advocate or just interested in learning more - you are all welcome to this event.
The Guidance addresses ethical issues in co-production research with people with disability in the university context in Australia.
It focuses on issues faced by academic researchers when they apply for ethics approval for a co-produced research project, and by ethics committees who review and approve applications.
Zoom closed captions and AUSLAN interpreters will be available.
