Event details
The 34th National Vocational Education and Training (VET) Research Conference 'No Frills' is set to take place on the Gold Coast from Wednesday, July 9 to Friday, July 11, 2025. The conference, co-hosted by NCVER and TAFE Queensland, will focus on the theme of "Diverse Voices in VET."
This theme highlights the importance of involving and amplifying the perspectives of a wide range of stakeholders within the VET sector. The conference seeks to foster meaningful dialogue around the unique challenges and opportunities faced by diverse groups, including registered training organisations (RTOs), industry representatives, students, policymakers, First Nations people, and individuals with disabilities.
By showcasing the contributions and experiences of these varied voices, the conference aims to shed light on how their perspectives can shape the future of the VET sector.
Call for abstracts now open
NCVER invites presentations that align with the conference theme Diverse Voices in VET. By centering the conference theme around diverse perspectives, we aim to explore innovative approaches to the VET sector that support inclusion, enhance outcomes, and drive a more resilient and adaptable workforce.
Presentations are invited that align with this vision, particularly those that explore the value of diversity and inclusion in VET, share best practices in meeting the needs of diverse learners, address the evolving demands of a skilled workforce that reflects our diverse society and showcase strategies for creating sustainable, impactful change across the sector.
