Seeking your input on university admissions practices (ACER)
The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) is consulting with university stakeholders to better understand the impact that university admissions processes and practices have on student wellbeing, engagement and learning outcomes.
ACER is interested in your experience and perspectives in relation to the impact of early offers, general entry, and non-ATAR pathways to admission. The research will also focus on how admissions practices could be made more equitable for First Nations students, students from low SES backgrounds, students from regional and remote areas, and students with disability.
This research has been commissioned by the Department of Education to progress work undertaken as part of the Australian Universities Accord and will inform the development of a national University Admissions Framework.
You can provide your perspectives and insights to the research team via an online survey.
ACER is also accepting written submissions via email to TertiaryResearch@acer.org.
Questions about the project can be directed to Ali Radloff, ACER Project Manager on TertiaryResearch@acer.org
