Paving New Paths: Harmonising Equity Data Across Institutions
Institutions across the sector share a common goal — to support all students in reaching their full potential. We need to look at how institutions are collecting and using equity data to inform resource allocations and deliver individual student accommodations. If we can create a system that reflects the unique needs of each institution, while harmonising data collection practices, we can ensure all students have the support they deserve.

QILT: Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching - Student Experience Survey 2023
The QILT Student Experience Survey (SES) is a comprehensive survey of current higher education students in Australia. It focuses on measurable aspects of the student experience that are linked to learning and development outcomes and can be influenced by higher education institutions. The SES collects data on areas such as: Teaching Quality; Skills Development; Student Support; Learning Resources; and, Peer Engagement. Conducted annually since 2012, the SES helps institutions and the government improve teaching and learning outcomes for students.

Report on Students with Disabilities Engaged with Support Services in Higher Education in Ireland 2022/23
This AHEAD Ireland report shows the number of students with disability participating in Higher Education in Ireland in the period 2022/3. This research has taken place annually since 2008/9, with historical data going back to 1993.
The report includes general statistics on numbers of students with disability as well as breakdown by disability profile, fields of study, exam accommodations, a postgraduate/undergraduate breakdown and much more.

People with disability in Australia 2024
People with disability in Australia brings together information from a range of national data sources to contribute to a greater understanding of disability in Australia. This 2024 update introduces new reporting based on data from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The update also includes new content about the experiences of people with disability when accessing key services, and employers’ attitudes and barriers to employing people with disability, using data from Australia’s Disability Strategy Survey – Share with us, conducted in 2022.

AHEAD Ireland: Report on Students with Disabilities Engaged with Support Services in Higher Education in Ireland 2021/22
AHEAD Ireland has published its annual report on the participation of students with disabilities in Irish higher education in 2021/2. The report shows that many students with disabilities do not disclose their disability or register for support services, which may affect their academic success and well-being. The report also provides detailed statistics on the disability profiles, fields of study, exam accommodations, and postgraduate/undergraduate breakdown of students with disabilities. (November 2023)
